A typical summer day at camp consists of chilly early mornings, warm and sunny afternoons, and late afternoon showers.

The camp lies at an elevation of 7,000 ft. Summer daytime temperatures fluctuate between 55° in the mornings and 80° in the afternoons. The evenings cool off to between 40° and 55°. Students attending sessions in June should come prepared for the occasional cool night.
