Equestrian Camp1 WEEK EQUESTRIAN CAMP
For students ages 10-12

Note: This camp session is sold out for 2008.

Sunday, June 15 - Saturday, June 21

This program is designed for young students who want to concentrate in equitation. Horsemanship and riding instruction are the mainstays of the program; riders learn the fundamentals of horse care, training, dressage and jumping techniques. Students choose English or Western styles of riding. Afternoon activities will alternate between semi-private riding lessons and traditional camp activities, such as art projects, hiking and local field trips. Equestrian students reside in a campus dormitory. Equestrian Campers present a showcase on Saturday morning prior to departure. Equestrian students have a pre-set curriculum and do not register for classes. Note: In the case of inclement weather, we will substitute other camp activities for riding.
