Virginia Barrett holds a Masters Degree in Teaching Art from the Rhode Island School of Design. She directed her own arts school, Arts for Kids, in San Francisco, California from 1993-1998. Virginia is both a visual artist and a poet; she often combines the two fields in her work to create illustrated limited edition books. Virginia will be returning for her tenth summer at Perry-Mansfield.
