Class-level placement is determined by audition-style
evaluations conducted by the faculty. Class placements are held
on the first full day of camp, after which each student is assigned
to an appropriate-level dance, theater and musical theater class.
Students can then choose two other classes from the list of electives
or, as approved based on class placement, from the other dance,
theater and musical theater offerings. Junior students have five
class periods per day, and residential students are required to
take a minimum of four classes.
Students register for elective classes on a first-come,
first-served basis, and specific classes cannot be guaranteed. Students
are encouraged to have several alternate classes in mind upon registration
in the event that courses fill-up early. Students will sign-up for
classes within the first two days of camp. Faculty and staff will
guide students through this process.
